Digi-Fleet have revolutionised the rpm signal aquisition procedure in diesel vehicles. An inherent problem with diesel vehicles is the difficulty in aquiring a signal. If the vehicle's alternator does not have a W-terminal, a terminal has to be wound into the stator winding, a laborious and time consuming exercise. If a W-terminal does exist then the problem arises in the accuracy of any signal derived from it.
